A Divine Life

“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4

It is God’s will that you live a divine life. That you be a partaker of His divine nature, walk in His divine power, live in His divine grace, and experience His divine will for your life. His plans are far greater for you than mere fire insurance. He has a divine purpose for your life. Everything about God is divine and when you truly get to know Him, you discover you were called to live a life that is divine too. Is it a life free of problems, conflict and trouble? Far from it. Actually a divine life in God is filled with problems, conflict and trouble carefully allowed so God’s glory can be seen. So many believers are comfortable. Comfort is the enemy of going from glory to glory and from faith to faith in God. Comfort will rob you of great experiences and moments that God longs for you to have with Him. “I want you to live My divine life for you.” Says the Spirit of the Lord. “No more comfort and trying to stay where you are. Come after Me and seek My divine purpose, My divine promises, My divine power. Be a partaker of My divine inspiration I have for you. Walk in My divine healing, My divine protection, My divine wisdom. Receive My divine influence upon your heart and let it be reflected in your life. Let Me enrich you in all things. Settle for nothing that falls short of My divine will, which is My best for you.”

Prayer: Father God, I believe Your Word and I receive it in my heart. Help me not remain comfortable, but grow in Christ and go from glory to glory and from faith to faith. Help me to live a divine life and be a partaker of Your divine nature. In Jesus name, Amen.
