A Divine Purpose

Posted on Posted in devotions

“A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men” Proverbs 18:16, NKJV.

In Bible history, we learn of Esther, a Jewess maiden who was chosen by king Ahasuerus to be his wife. To the king, she was by far the most beautiful woman in all the land of Persia. In her new position as queen, God was able to use her to save thousands of Jews from being killed. There was a divine purpose for her beauty and a divine purpose for her promotion as queen.

Likewise, there is a divine purpose for your design, your personality, looks, gifts, talents, and skill set. And when God causes any of these things to bring you success and promotion, remember that it’s for a divine purpose to bless someone.

In the words of my dear mother in the Lord…

“Yes those gifts are limitless and amazing! The manifested sons of God are raising up, and by the Holy Spirit are bringing great revelation for the season and seasons yet to come. Sound the alarm and stay position in Christ. We are mandated to keep our eyes fixed on Him alone. His Kingdom is here and it is advancing into every arena. Lifestyles are being converted as we yield and submit to the Truth Giver who ever lives to bring the transformation with our living by and in our new nature.” Barbara Joanne Bell-Claxton

Prayer: Lord, I offer to You every gift and talent You have given me. I ask that as You cause these gifts to bring promotion. Help me to remember my kingdom assignment and stay in position for maximum effectiveness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
