A Great Exchange

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:1-2 NKJV)

No matter how much you love God, there are going to be days when you just don’t feel at your best. If you live long enough there will be times when your faith will be weak and you will feel discouraged. Is that a negative confession? No, that’s life. There are times when the last thing you want to do is dance around and bless the Lord. Thank God we don’t live our lives solely based on feelings, because if we did we would miss out on what God has for us. In our times of weakness, God makes a great exchange within us. When we get before Him in prayer, He takes our weakness and gives us His strength and power. He takes our feelings of doubt and gives us His faith and confidence. He takes our feelings of hopelessness and gives us His hope. That’s why we should never ever fear coming to God because of how we feel. Daughter, He knows what you are going through. He knows what you are up against in your life. He is aware of how you feel and He wants to perform a great exchange! You may feel down right now and your joy may be so low that it hurts to smile, but God is right there with you to perform a glorious exchange! He is the lifter up of your head! He will turn your miserable pity party into a wonderful Holy Ghost party. Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph through Christ Jesus no matter how we feel! Glory to God!

Prayer:  Father, I bless Your name! Thank you for the great exchange You make in our lives. I give you my weakness and I receive Your strength. I give you my feelings of hopelessness and I receive Your hope and confidence. Everything I need I receive it now from You. I love You Lord and I praise You for blessing me today! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
