A letter to my sisters.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” Ephesians 3:20, NKJV.

To my dearly beloved sisters throughout the world, with a full heart, I write to you. The Lord has been blessing me beyond anything I have ever hoped or imagined. He has given me the opportunity to travel to South Africa in June to speak at a women’s conference along with my husband. They are taking care of all expenses, and are so excited about my visit. I have never felt so overwhelmed at God’s goodness.

I want you to know God will do exceeding abundantly above all that you can ask or think. I know that is a scripture we read often, but I wonder how many of us pause to think about the meaning. He says, “above all that you can ask or think.” I believe for many of us; our vision is far too small. We serve a God who will go far above what we have ever hoped, pictured for ourselves, or imagined, but we have to come up higher to see. It’s like a little girl standing on her tiptoes to see the parade, then her father picks her up and sits her on his shoulders. Now, she can see a much better view. God saw me standing on my tiptoes eagerly looking to see Him better, and He has stooped down and picked me up, sitting me on His shoulders. All I could do was weep before Him and pray, “Lord, help my sisters to see what I see.” The view is more glorious than anything you could ever imagine.

God will show you great and mighty things when you call to Him. He will do exceeding abundantly above all you have asked for or pictured in your mind. Stand on your tiptoes with a great desire to see more of Him in your life, and you will find that your Father will pick you up and give you a better view of His vision for your life, a better view of His nature and character, and a better view of the world around you.

As we plan and prepare for the ministry in Africa, please pray for safe travels, that I will operate in great sensitivity to His Holy Spirit, and He will be glorified from beginning to end. To God be the glory and honor.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for speaking to my heart. I pray you will help me to stand on my tiptoes with a great desire to see more of you in my life. Pick me up Father so I can have your view. Help me to see what you want me to see, hear what you want me to hear, and receive in my heart what you long for me to receive. I want your vision for my life and not my own. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

(Read Jeremiah 33:3)

  1. Morning. I am from South Africa. Where are the conference? Maybe I can attend if it is nearby. I love the word – it is just for me

  2. Father God, I need you more than ever before. I have fallen down and I know that you will pick me up to see what I have missed for so long. Not just the desires of my heart but the things that you long for me to see, and do as well in Jesus precious name.
