“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways” James 1:6-8, NKJV.
“My people are praying with no real expectation of Me. They conceive in prayer, but abort when they don’t receive quickly. I’m not only pleased with hearing their voice when they pray, I am pleased when they receive what they have labored in prayer for. Tell them to expect Me to move, expect Me to heal, expect their joy to be made full and for them to see with their own eyes, touch with their own hands, and receive into their lives My promises. No more double-mindedness. No more, “Lord, do it” then retracting what they have requested of Me. They must believe until they receive. Says the Lord.”
Prayer: Yes Lord, I hear You. Forgive my double-mindedness. I receive Your word deep in my heart and I ask that You cause it to take root and produce visible fruit in my life. Help me to no longer be double-minded when it comes to prayer and receiving from You. Help me be like Abraham, fully persuaded of what You’ve promised me and giving glory to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
