“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” Isaiah 40:31, NKJV.
“Your expectation of Me is what I seek. Your enthusiasm, your joy, your faith, your trust, you believing in Me, you waiting patiently for Me, just like My servant David, that’s what I seek. It’s not about how long you wait, it’s about how you wait. And when you feel yourself growing tired, remind yourself that your expectation came from Me. It’s not something you created on your own. It came from Me, and since it came from Me, you know that I’m going to do it. Your expectation is something I gave you. I put it in your heart to believe Me for that. I put that desire in your heart. And didn’t I say that when you delight yourself in Me, I will give you the desires of your heart? I put that desire in your heart. I gave you that expectation. So delight in waiting for Me. Delight in trusting Me. Delight in seeing it from My view. Delight in Me. It’s how you wait. That’s what I’m paying attention to. It’s your attitude while you wait. I want to renew your strength. I will renew your strength as you come to Me. And I will cause you to mount up with wings as a strong and mighty eagle. And I will allow you to see your family, and see your situation, and see your life, see your destiny and your future, I will allow you to see it all from My view and from My perspective. And it will fill you with hope in believing. And it will cause you to run and not grow weary, and walk and not faint. You will not give up. You will not lose heart. You will run and you will not grow weary. I did not bring you this far to leave you. I did not bring you this far to abandon you. I want to bring to pass what I’ve placed inside of you. I want to fulfill your expectation of Me, but I need you to increase your expectancy. All of heaven is cheering for you. Imagine yourself in a marathon. Life is not a sprint. I know you thought that you just could believe Me and it would be that quick and that easy, but life is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. And I have given you a measure of faith, and I have given you strength for the marathon, not for a sprint. So no matter how long you have to wait, grow excited every single day because the longer it takes, the sweeter it’s going to be. Your expectation is from Me. It’s from Me, and I never disappoint those who wholeheartedly trust Me. Says the LORD.”
