“Do not despise these small beginnings” (Zechariah 4:10, NLT).
In doing what God has called you to do, don’t despise small beginnings.
While seeking God, I heard Him say in a still small voice, “I want you to start a women’s ministry and call it “Daughters of the King International Ministries.” He told me to start by launching a daily devotional. I obeyed Him and wrote my first devotional. I then released it the very next day to the women in my contact list, which was no more than 70 at the time. Three years later, we now have a team of anointed writers and a devotional app that is reaching thousands around the world with over 200 downloads per day. To God be the glory. We still have a long way to go, but I believe the secret to godly success is seeking the Lord and doing what He tells you—nothing more.
It is good when you can say to God, “I did what you asked me to do, now what?” After asking God “now what,” we are instructed to continue expanding and advancing His kingdom in keeping with the mission He gave us of:
Inspiring Women Around the World
“Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession” (Psalms 2:8, NLT).
Our devotionals are being used by God to inspire women globally. However, we are moved when we consider those who are not English speaking and who have no way of translating our devotionals into their language. To make sure everyone is reached, we are working to create a version of Daughters of the King Daily Devotionals in every tongue and nationality.
Praying For Revival Among Us
“Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you” (Ephesians 5:14, ESV).
Revive—to live again. We believe the Spirit of Christ is a quickening spirit. He causes us to come alive and to regain life, our voice and our seat of influence. Where we have been dead, silent and weak, God is causing us to awaken and to live again—to have a strong voice in the earth and to operate in His power. The Holy Spirit is shaking sleeping believers all around the world, reviving them and using them to go and revive others. We are continuing to pray for revival in the church in every place, and we ask that you please join us in prayer.
“I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one” (John 17:21, NLT).
One day in prayer God said, “When you are unified, I will release blessings in your life. People are not supporting each other like they should. They are too busy competing. There must be a spirit of unity.” When we unite and there is a joining together of the hands in support of each other, we will send a spiritual shock-wave throughout the earth and God will be greatly glorified.
Prayer: Father God, I thank You for everything You are doing in the earth through this ministry. You are great! I ask that you continue to be at the helm of this work and that it continues to do what You purposed it to do for Your glory. I say a special prayer for the woman reading this. I pray You give her a burden for souls and that she yields completely to You. You want to bless her, not harm her. I pray she trusts You like she never has before. You will always do Your part—help her do hers. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
