“Abide in Me” A Word of the Lord for You

Posted on Posted in devotions

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will[a] ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7, NKJV

“As the heavens are high above, so are My ways high above you. My thoughts are high above you. You try to understand with your natural mind, but you are unable to. My thoughts and ways can only be revealed to you by My Holy Spirit. It is when you abide in Me and take up residence in Me that things become clear. It is when you make My presence your permanent home that you will discover in Me what you did not know. Wonderful insight is awaiting you. My knowledge is awaiting you. My purpose and plan is awaiting you. I want you to receive, but abide in Me and let My words abide in you. Then you will ask for what you will, and it will be done unto you. Abide.”

Prayer: Yes, Lord I hear and I receive Your word to my heart. Let Your words go down into the deep places of my heart and produce visible fruit in my life. Not one word will return void. Teach me how to abide in You and make Your presence and Your will my permanent home and dwelling place. I long to be in You and stay there. Thank You Lord for drawing me closer to You. Thank You Lord for wrapping me in Your arms and showing me how to abide in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. God, I receive the that you have for me only. God no one can make me believe that you don’t have someone for me.
