Are you wandering?

Posted on Posted in devotions

“For the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, “Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” Ephesians 5:14, New Living Translation (NLT)

There are some people that are “wandering”. Although they love the Lord, attend church regularly and are surrounded by God fearing people, they are “wandering” around without a clue of which way to go.

They know they have a purpose to fulfill, but they haven’t been able to anchor themselves to render fruitful services to the Lord. They have tried different ministries in the past, but never feel ‘’fulfilled”. They never feel like they are making a significant impact in this world. They are wandering, knowing they want more, knowing have been equipped with more, knowing God has more for them.

The more time they spend “wandering” the farther they drift away and the colder they become, eventually making them feel guilty inside. Why? Because some people find their significance in servant-hood. Jesus knew all about servant-hood, but Jesus wasted no time. He served without hesitation. What are you waiting for?

Time is running out and there is a lost world that demands you to seek God for direction. Once direction is given, they need you to not hesitate and act immediately. You are needed in the Kingdom of God. Your services are required and your position is vacant waiting for occupation.

Prayer: Father God, I pray You get me out of this wandering place I’m in. Give me clarity of purpose. Wake me up to Your divine plan for my life and help me to be about Kingdom business. Where you lead I will follow. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
