You're going to receive true friendships.

I prophesy to you on today that God is going to bless you with true friendships. He is going to divinely place sisters in your life that you can be real with and be yourself with. The kind of friendships He is bringing into your life won’t mind you setting boundaries with them. They are going to still love and respect you, and want you in their life. God is going to bless you with the kind of friendships, my sister, that you’ve been praying for. You will know that they are from God because they will encourage your spiritual growth, and not hinder it. They’re going to be the kind of fun and loving friendships you’ve been wanting for a long time.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for being such a good Father who loves me with an unfailing love and favors me. Thank you for every blessing. I receive your rich blessing of true friendships in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Highway of Faith

“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17, NKJV

The Fearful Road only takes you down. The moment you get on it, you immediately know that something doesn’t feel right. You no longer recognize your surroundings and everything is looking darker and darker. That’s when you must make a decision to get off that road and get on the Highway of Faith.

The Faith Highway doesn’t go down or grow darker the longer you drive. It goes up and up, and everything gets brighter and brighter. Joy rises in your heart, and you find yourself singing praise to God.

So how do you get on the Highway of Faith? You first recognize that you are not going the right way. Ask yourself, “What am I running from?” “What am I choosing not to do because I feel afraid?” Then you do that particular thing that God is prompting you to do. That one simple act of obedience will get you on Faith’s Highway to a life that goes higher and higher in the Lord. This is the way you become stronger in your faith, by not running or hiding in fear, but choosing to live by faith and in love. This is the only way to truly live.

Prayer: Father God, I receive Your words to my heart. Thank You for speaking to me in such a way that I can understand it. You love me and I love You. Help me not to go down the road of fear, but to stay on the highway of faith. Help my faith in You to win over every feeling I have. I don’t want to go down, I want to climb higher and higher in You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Open Up to Him

“I am the Lord your God, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it” Psalm‬ ‭81:10‬, Amplified‬.

Dear friend, there will be times in your life when you will not know who to open up to. You will wonder who you can trust, who has your best in mind and who is truly safe. But there’s one person who you can trust; He is your heavenly Father. You opened your heart to Him once so He could come in and rescue you from a life of sin. The challenge becomes to continue opening your heart to Him as you walk throughout life. He wants to fill your heart with love, your mind with understanding, your mouth with words, and your life with good things. Open up wide to Him when everything is telling you to close your heart. Open up wide to Him and He will come in and fill you completely until you are overflowing and now able to bless others.

Prayer: Father, I come to you empty and ask you to fill my heart with your love, fill my mind with understanding, fill my mouth with words to say, and fill my life with good things. Lord, fill every empty place. I need you, God. Help me continue to open up to you wide as I walk throughout life. Thank you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

How do you see Him?

“He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered and said to Him, “You are the Christ.” Mark 8:29

Do you know that how you see Jesus determines what you believe? If you see Jesus as your healer, you will have no problem believing Him to heal you. If you see Jesus as your Chief Shepherd, you will have no problem trusting Him to guide you and provide your every need.

The people of Nazareth, Jesus’ hometown, saw Jesus in the natural. They said of Him, “Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us?” They saw Jesus in the natural. They did not see Him as God in the flesh. As a result, He could not do many mighty works there.

Today, many people, including some philosophers, see Jesus of Nazareth as a good man who led an exemplary life. They feel that if all of us could live our lives like Him, the world would be a better place. They don’t see Jesus as the bread of God who came from heaven to give life to the world. They don’t see Him as the one who came to give them living water, so that they would never thirst again. They don’t see Him as the Lamb of God, who took away the sin of the world. They don’t receive from Him what they need because they don’t esteem Him rightly.

Jesus did not come just to set a good example for man to follow. He came to be our Redeemer. He came to be our righteousness. He came to be our shepherd, so that we will not lack anything.

Jesus asked His disciples once, “Who do you say that I am?” How you answer this question depends on how you see Jesus. And how you see Jesus will determine how and what you receive from Him. So see Him as your God, as everything He claims to be in His Word, and He will do mighty works in your life.

Prayer: Lord, I come to you today and confess that I have at times not trusted or truly relied on you to be more than enough in my life. I choose today to trust you to be exactly what you say you are to me…
You are my El Roi, my all seeing God.
You are my Jehovah-Rapha, my Healer.
You are my Jehovah-Jireh, my Provider.
You are my Jehovah-Tsidkenu , my Righteousness.
And You are my Jehovah-Shalom, the one that give me peace to the uttermost.

He hasn't forgotten.

“Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalms 37:4, Berean Study Bible

There’s one thing I love about the husband God has given me. He never forgets the things I love and care about. Once he finds out that there’s something I truly desire, he won’t let me settle for anything else. He becomes determined to get me my heart’s desire, even if it take him years to do it. He doesn’t forget.

And it is the same with God. The LORD remembers every time we’ve said, “Oh, I would love it if…” or, “I would be so happy to…” He remembers everything we say, everything we think about and imagine. Some things we may have forgotten we desired, but He hasn’t. He is just as determined to bring those desires to pass, even if it take years.

Father God, thank you for loving me the way you do. You remember every dream and desire in my heart. Help me not to settle, but trust you bring those things to pass in your perfect timing and in your perfect way In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Woman of Character

“For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.” Romans 8:29, NLT

Our destiny is to look like Jesus on the inside and to behave like Jesus on the outside. Many of us are spiritual powerhouses, can pray the house down, sing the roof off, hang off the chandeliers when we praise the Lord, and can administrate duties with a spirit of excellence. We appear like strong mighty lions, but who are we inwardly? Do we love just as loud? Forgive just as strong? Are we as obedient to God as our prayers are powerful?

These are things of the heart that matter most to God. The nuts and bolts of a woman of character is how she responds when it’s time to let go, how she behaves when she doesn’t get her way, how she acts when her gift and calling is ignored, and what she does when she experiences failure. Let God break off everything that doesn’t look like Him. The lying has to stop. The bad attitude, no more. The laziness and procrastination, no more. The unforgiveness and resentment, that’s not becoming of you. No more erotic romance novels and sexual perversion. The pride and arrogance, no ma’am. The selfishness, not you woman of God. No more making a person your idol. Time to tell fear and timidity goodbye. You can be the woman you know in your heart you were created to be.

Let God break these things off so you can develop His character within you. You are chosen and are predestined for a great work that will bring God great glory, but His work in you is where it all begins.

Prayer: Yes, Lord. I know whatever You reveal to me that needs changing in my life, You will help change it. You are with me. In Jesus name, Amen.

“I long for you to desire and pursue My destiny for your life more than you desire to hold on to your past. I am your strength. I am the strength you need to release those you’ve held prisoner in your heart through unforgiveness. You will release them and you will let them go, says the LORD. Know that I will never let the pain of your past outweigh the glorious future I have in store for you. My daughter, I’m creating in you a desire for Me and My will for your life. You will enjoy what you’ve never experienced in Me. You will let go of the familiar, and you will reach with everything in you to lay hold of My purpose and plan. You will let go of the hurt and pain, and you will reach and lay hold of all I have preordained for you to walk in. Your days of being a victim are over. Your days of replaying and reliving the past are over. That’s behind you now. I will help you walk in total and complete freedom. Says the LORD.”

Stop blaming yourself.

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven” Luke 6:37, NIV.

One of the worst things any woman can experience is guilt from knowing she wasn’t the kind of mother she needed to be for her children. She can think to herself, “If only I would have been a better mother, my children would not be the way they are today.” I’ve seen guilt-ridden mothers refuse to live their life because of their past failures. As if the bitter resentment of their children isn’t enough, these women punish themselves by refusing to be happy, healthy and enjoy their lives.

The truth is, everyone has been given by God the freedom to choose how they will live their life. No one goes to hell because their mother was a bad mother. What sends us to an eternity in hell is our own personal rejection of Jesus. We are responsible for our lives and how we choose to live them despite the mistakes of our parents.

It is time for mothers to forgive themselves and go on to enjoy the rest of their days on this earth. It is also time for grown children to forgive their parents for what they did or didn’t do, and accept responsibility for their own life choices.

Prayer: Father God, I ask that you heal the heart of every mother who is blaming herself for her children’s mistakes. Minister healing to her heart and give her a new life in you. Don’t let her spend the rest of her days punishing herself for something she can do nothing about. Help her to move on and be happy, healthy and enjoy the life you’ve given her. Help adult children everywhere to accept responsibility for the life choices they’ve made and receive you as their Savior and Lord. Give us a heart that can forgive our parents for their mistakes and love them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Your best life is in front of you.

“Brothers, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing indeed: Forgetting the things behind and reaching forward to the things ahead” Philippians 3:13, Berean Literal Bible.

I’m just going to say it…You’re not hurting anyone but yourself when you give in to the enemy because of what someone did to you. I’m sorry they hurt you. I’m sorry they didn’t believe in you. I’m sorry they weren’t there when you needed them most. It hurts, I know it does. But you know what, my friend? You can either use this as fuel or as an excuse. The greatest revenge is to go full force into the things of God, to go full force into your purpose, to give God your broken heart and let Him kiss it and make it better.

God can give you more new memories that will take the place of all the old hurtful ones. He can show you that there is life after heartbreak. There is more life to live. Your best life is in front of you, not behind you. Reeeaaacchh forward. Reeeaaacchh forward. Reeeaaacchh forward into God’s perfect plan. You can do it. You will find grace waiting in front of you. You will find happiness waiting in front you. You will find healing…waiting… in front of you.

Prayer: Lord, I pray for my sister reading this now. You know exactly what she is feeling. Help her Lord to see the same thing You showed me when I was hurting beyond belief. You showed me the same love that I encountered the first day I surrendered to you. Show her that Powerful, Everlasting, Unconditional, Never Changing Love. Dissolve her fears. Heal her pain. Hug her heart. Remove all hopelessness, and help her Reeeaaacchh forward. In Jesus name, Amen.

A Prayer of Protection

Father God, I pray for your daughter who is reading this right now. I pray that you cover her and her loved ones today. Protect her Lord and surround her with your angel armies. Let her know that you are with her in a great way, and no weapon formed against her will prosper. She is covered and is surrounded by you. Lead her Lord and guide her by your Holy Spirit. Show her how to hear your voice more clearly and teach her how to be led by you in all that she does. You love her with an everlasting love. Keep her Lord close to your side. Give her peace that surpasses all understanding. She will not walk in fear of traveling, fear of sharing the gospel, or fear of her future. She walks by faith. She is divinely protected by you. Thank you Lord for hearing and answering my prayer. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
