Be Steadfast, Unmovable, Always Abounding

“So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless” (1 Corinthians 15:58, NLT).

The enemy may be telling you that what you are doing is useless. He may be saying, “Why continue? You might as well hang it up and do something else.” Whether you are a minister, a missionary, a school teacher, a volunteer, a caretaker, etc, know that your labor is not in vain. You are making a difference whether you see visible change or not.

God is saying directly to you today, “Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work I’ve given you to do. Know that your labor is not in vain. You may not see any visible proof of the difference I am using you to make, but you are making a difference. Don’t me moved. Don’t lose heart. Don’t lose your eternal perspective. Continue to abound in My work and I will cause all of My grace and favor to abound toward you.”

Prayer: Father God, I thank You for speaking directly to my heart. Only You know how I truly feel. I repent for every time I’ve complained about the assignment You’ve given me. I receive Your supernatural encouragement and Your touch. Thank You for giving me the victory through Jesus. No matter how it looks. No matter how I feel. No matter what I hear. Help me to persevere and endure. Restore my soul and my passion for the work You’ve called me to. Help me to maintain my joy and an eternal perspective. Help me stay excited and not listen to the lies of the enemy. Thank You that I get to glorify You by making a difference in someone’s life. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
