Black Friday Experience

Stores experienced a major boost in sales on yesterday as a flood of customers came in by the droves all looking for steals and deals. It is even a part of many shoppers yearly tradition to wake up early and plan exactly which stores they are going to visit and how long they stay. Having never been caught up in major sale days before, I was planning to stay away from the frenzy. Just never been a Black-Friday-spend-all-my-money kind of chick. So while on my way to the grocery store last night, I decided to run into a department store to see what all the hype was about. I walked in and saw no deals whatsoever. Then as I was beginning to walk out of the store I asked a woman where all of the sales were. She mentioned that in this store the sales were on bedding and told me which store to go to if I wanted deals on other things. As she suggested, I walked over to the bedding area and lo and behold 80% off of quality bedding that was worth hundreds of dollars. I couldn’t believe it! I said to myself, “this is what all the fuss is about. This is a steal!” Although I still wouldn’t consider myself a Black-Friday-spend-all-my-money kind of chick, I do see how they evolve. There’s nothing like heavy marked down prices on your favorite item and a great steal of a deal.

For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.” Psalm 84:11 (NLT)

Father,
That was fun! Thank You for the great deal I found on yesterday. The bed set is gorgeous. I love when You bless me something I need at a great price all because You love me. I love You too. In Jesus name, Amen.
