“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed” 1 Peter 2:24.
When my son has to clean up something off the floor, he often cries, “It’s too much! This will take forever!” That’s exactly how I felt when I hit rock bottom and my life shattered into a million tiny pieces. I thought it was too much for God and that His restoration of my life would take forever, but I was wrong.
No matter how broken your life may be, God knows how to put the broken pieces back together again. He can make it better than before. Know that your life is not beyond repair, it’s not too much for God, and no, it will not to take Him forever. God specializes in making all things new.
Keep moving forward and watch Him do what no man can do. Receive His healing and restoring love. Receive the truth that Jesus’ body was broken so you can be made whole. What He has done for countless of others, He will surely do for you if you believe.
Say this out loud from your heart: “Lord, I believe. Restore me. Make all things new. I trust you in the name of Jesus. I cry out to you to heal and restore everything that’s broken in my life. All for your glory alone. Amen.
