Broken to Beautiful

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

When my son has to clean up something off the floor, he often cries, “It’s too much! This will take forever!” That’s exactly how I felt when I hit rock bottom and my life shattered into a million tiny pieces. I cried out to God, “It’s too much! This will take forever!” It felt hopeless. But God…

No matter how broken and shattered your life may be, God knows how to put the broken pieces back together again. He will do what you can’t do. Maybe you have a broken heart, a broken dream, broken promises made to you, or a broken body. Know that you are not beyond repair, you’re not too much for God, and no, it will not to take Him forever. God specializes in making all things new, dear! Receive the finished work of Christ. Receive what He accomplished on the cross for you. Receive His healing and restoring love. Receive the truth that Jesus’ body was broken so you can be healed. What He has done for countless of others, He will SURELY do for you because He loves you!

Say this out loud from your heart: “When God restores, He makes it better than before. I am not beyond repair, I am not too much for God, and no, it will not take Him forever to restore me. My God will be glorified in my life. He is making all things new for me! I will trust Him in the name of Jesus.”

Prayer: Father God, I cry out to you to heal everything that’s broken in my life. Make all things new. I know you can do it because you’ve done it for others. Do it for me God. Bless me with miraculous restoration and use me to testify of your goodness everywhere I go. I yield to you now, and I pray that you are glorified in me. In the name of Jesus’, Amen.
