“Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.” Romans 12:15 KJV
Celebrate with those who are experiencing the fullness of God’s promises for their lives. During this time, be watchful for the enemy. His scheme is to plant thoughts in your mind. One of his greatest tricks is to make you compare your life to someone else.
“Why did she get married and I’m still single?”
“She has the family and I don’t?”
“Why did they give her the promotion and not me?”
“Why is her ministry taking off and not mines?”
“When will my time come?”
If he can make you ask questions similar to these, he will make you question God’s timing for your life. When you question God’s timing, impatience creeps in which gives birth to what we call compromising. The enemy wants you to doubt God’s timing and His plan for your life. God has a plan and He’s control. Stand firm in your faith in Him. See the blessings He has already given you, while you wait. Rest in knowing that God is good and He is faithful to His promises.
Prayer: Father God, I thank you for speaking to my heart. Forgive me. You said that there’s a time for everything. Teach me to trust in your timing for my life. You know my beginning and my end. Create in me a clean heart that will praise and celebrate with my sisters. You have a different, divine plan for each of your daughters and we will take heed to it. In Jesus mighty precious we pray, Amen.
