“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV)
My favorite season of the year is spring. However, no matter how much I enjoy watching flowers bloom and leaves turn green, I can’t demand the earth to remain in my favorite season all year long. It will undoubtedly change. God knows exactly how and when to usher us into different seasons of our lives. There are seasons when we sow and seasons when we reap a harvest. There are seasons when everything is blissful and seasons when we are met with trial and adversity. There are seasons when we must teach others and seasons when we must sit and be taught. There are seasons in life when it’s time to wave goodbye to what’s no longer working and seasons when we must embrace something new. God doesn’t take us through seasons to hurt us, but to mature us. Our times and seasons are in His hands. May we learn to trust in His wisdom and continue to move forward with Him.
Prayer: Father, my times and seasons are in Your hands. I choose to trust in Your wisdom. I pray that You help me move forward with You as You guide me through every season of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
