Receive God’s Help!

February 23, 2017

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you” John 14:16-17, ESV.
Lift your eyes to the hills from where your help comes from. Your help comes from the Lord. He is your helper. When you’re on the verge of breaking down, and you have no one else to call, Holy Spirit is your helper. You are not helpless. You are not without support. But it’s up to you to receive the help the Father has provided to you. When you call on Him, the Spirit of God will come to your aid; He will mightily rush to your rescue. He will help you lift your hands in worship. He will help you sustain under pressure without breaking. He will help you seize every single promise that’s been made to you. He will help you breakthrough. Don’t refuse God’s help. Don’t sit there as though you don’t need His help. Jesus told His disciples it is expedient (or profitable) for you that I go away. He told them He would send another Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, and He would abide with us forever. He would guide us into all truth and show us things to come. Receive the help of the Holy Spirit of God! Receive the help of the Holy Spirit of God! Receive the help of the Holy Spirit of God! There will never be a moment when you do not need Him. Reach up and reach out your hands and say, “Holy Ghost! Lift me up! Holy Ghost! Fill my cup! Holy Spirit of God, set me free! Holy Spirit of God, strengthen me!”
Prayer: Yes, Lord! I receive the help of your precious Holy Spirit. I need your help. I can’t make it without you. I can’t do anything without you. But with you, nothing’s impossible. So I cry out, Holy Ghost heal me, strengthen me, set me free and help me to persevere by faith. Thank you Father for sending your Holy Spirit. He is precious to me. I receive His help now and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    Acts 2:38-39
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

I know God led me to this post and I thank you for it for your obedience to write it it means the world to me to know he truly is God with us Emanuel… He walked me through the valley of the shadow of death..he has borne my grief…thank you again

Oh dear Michele my prayers are with you. That was my Psalm too going through years of very dark depression…Couldn’t even pray…just that Psalm over and over. Let’s be somewhat comforted to know that others are going through some of the same suffering. We are not alone..always linked together in the body of Christ…He is the Glory and the Lifter of our heads honey♡

I needed this word this morning. It was a refueling for me. I am feeling sooooo anxious about life’s situations. It is comforting to be reminded that God has sent the Holy Spirit to always be with me. God’s word says not to be anxious, but to pray and talk to Him. Oh how precious to be in the loving thoughts of a God who cares. Pray for me DOTK. Please stand in the gap with the Holy Spirit.

I have been sick with a bad cough that has left me very weak. I needed to be reminded that his holy spirit is my helper. Depression reaps its ugly head and I know this is the enemy. Discouragement is only one of the devil’s tatics to derail us from the truth. Thank you for reminding me that he is with me at all times.

I thank God for his word reminding me of the Holy Spirit. I had devotion in the morning with my children before they went to school. I read John 14:16-17 from this post and prayed with them releasing them into Holy Spirit precence. I then picked my friend up to drive into city. My phone’s battery died and we couldn’t locate the address. I quickly shared the morning devotion with my friend about Holy Spirit our guide teacher helper & best friend. I then remain silence for a while, that’s when I am reminded that Holy Spirit will be my GPS guide to our destination. I was under his direction all through and every turn I took went according to God’s direction. We were socked to see the building we planned to go to.
I was grateful to the Holy Spirit for being our best guide & helper.
Thank you for bringing us into the word every morning.
    God bless you more
