Don’t Live in The Dark

Posted on Posted in devotions

When you’re sitting in the dark, a large moving object in the corner can terrify you. Because the lights are off, you don’t know if that’s a coat rack in the corner or a monster. However, when you turn on the light, you receive immediate understanding. It was a coat rack. There are women today that live in fear because they walk in darkness. You are not destined to live in the dark. You are called by God to live, walk, and move in God’s glorious light. Receive the Lord today, and not only that, but also receive and agree with what He has to say in His Word regarding you. When you do that, His light will light up your life and cause darkness to flee!

You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.” Psalms 18:28 (NLT)

Dear Father,

I was not called to sit in the dark, afraid and confused. You desire that I live in the light that only Jesus gives me. I receive the light of Jesus in my heart and I receive what Your word has to say about me. Thank You for ridding my life of all darkness and letting Your glory shine in! In Jesus Name, Amen.
