Don’t Make it Complicated

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” John 1:12 (KJV)

Are you finding it difficult to be who God called you to be? Are you doing the opposite of what you know is the right thing to do? Our old nature and old ways of thinking creeps back into our lives when we don’t know how to be and how to live in Christ. God didn’t call you to a life of confusion and frustration in your walk with Him. He designed your new life in Him to flow as naturally as water flows from a fountain. Yet when you don’t know that it’s all through Christ that this new life is lived, you will try and fail. Don’t try so hard to be what you already are. You have been saved by grace and that grace is unforced. Let your mind be renewed and let God wrap your heart around the true meaning of His grace. Let everything you do flow from who you are in Christ.

Prayer: Father, forgive me for complicating my walk with You. I receive Your grace to be who You created me to be in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
