Enemies of Destiny

Posted on Posted in devotions

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

You reaching your destiny and fulfilling your life’s purpose is at the forefront of God’s mind. So when He tells you to leave someone alone, He has your best interest at heart. They may be good people, but every good person isn’t good for you or good for where God is taking you. They may subtlety try to change your view, change your mind, or cause you to change your course altogether. Without being aware of it, these people can be enemies of your destiny. Pray about every relationship in your life. Pray about every friendship, every business relationship, and every mentoring relationship. God will place people in your life that are critical to you fulfilling your destiny and will remove those who will only try to subtlety hinder it.

Prayer: Father, I seek You about every person that is in my life and choose to guard my heart and the purpose You have given me. Anyone that will try to take me off the course you have laid for me, I pray You remove them from my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
