Faith to Faith

Posted on Posted in devotions

Are you fearful and worried that God won’t come through for you?  Maybe God blessed you before and you were happy over that, but now another obstacle presents itself and you worry if God will do it again.  Then, out of nowhere, God comes through again, so you rejoice until another obstacle comes.  Do you see the pattern?  You are living from fear to fear, when you should be living from faith to faith.  Every time God does something awesome in your life, let it make your faith stronger.  You can trust God!  If He came through before, He will come through again, and again, and again, and again.  He will continue to demonstrate His love for you over and over again until you finally understand that He loves you and has your back.  Fear sees obstacles, while faith sees opportunities.  Fear causes you to doubt and complain, while faith causes you to rejoice and praise God.  A characteristic of faith is thankfulness.  A thankful heart rejoices over what God has already done and what He’s about to do.  Let thankfulness carry you over into the next opportunity to watch and see God perform a miracle in your life.  Settle it in your heart right now that you will no longer live from fear to fear, but from faith to faith!

“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:17 KJV)

Prayer:  Father God, thank You for blessing me over and over again in my life.  Forgive me for doubting You. You are trustworthy and You are faithful!  I rejoice in You and praise You for what You have already done and for what You are about to do in my life!  I’m excited about it!  I settle it in my heart to live from faith to faith.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
