Faith Will See You Through It

Posted on Posted in devotions

In life, we are faced with trouble, with storms, with tests, and with trials.  Maybe you are in a storm right now and you are trying to keep your hope alive in God.  However, no matter how great the storm is, your God is greater.  He is a strong tower that the righteous run into and are saved. He is our refuge and is an anchor for our soul.  And when we keep our minds stayed on Him, He keeps us in perfect peace.  Your faith in God is all you have.  It is what will see you through any storm.  People may tell you that the situation is hopeless, but that’s a lie!  There’s always hope as long as God is on the throne.  People may tell you that there is no way you are going to come out of your situation, but that’s a lie!  If God can bring the people of Israel out of Egypt and eventually into their Promised Land, surely God can bring you out of whatever you are in and into His perfect plan for your life!  People may tell you that your life is over and sickness will take you out, but that’s a lie!  God says that you will live and not die that you may declare His work (Psalm 118:17).  People may tell you that your spouse is too far gone and you might as well give up on trying to save him, but that’s a lie!  God said He will save both you and your household (Acts 16:31).  As you can see, our storms can be made be worse by unbelieving people around us.  However, you must hold on to your faith.  Believe in what God has said.  Let your faith in God and His Word see you through to the very end!

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”
(Mark 11:22 KJV)

Prayer:  Father, You are my peace.  You are my refuge and my deliverer.  No matter what I face in life, You are with me to give me strength and power to stand in faith and confidence in You.  My faith and my hope is in You Lord.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
A sincere thank you to our Daughters of the King Daily Devotional Writers.
