Many have experienced that moment when you land a job interview-the job you were destined to have. The prospective interview played in your mind repeatedly as you tossed in your sleep with anticipation. You believed you were qualified for the position, but wondered if the company would feel the same. You questioned whether or not your resume was good enough or if you picked the right outfit to represent who you are. As you pull up to the job site, your nerves are on edge and you are fearful of rejection. The root of such fear is simply being unsure of the unknown. You are fearful of not having a blueprint for ever y step your life should take and being intimidated by the prospect of failing. The fear is driven by the question of, “What If?” However, God does not display our victory in Him through the “What if” mindset, but in the “When?” Every day you live propels you to the fulfillment of the purpose God has for you, which is complete in victory. He is not setting you up for failure and God is not leading you down a path to be abandoned. Romans 8:31 proclaims, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Nothing and no one, so live your life in expectation, proclaiming that fear has no place in your life. No matter what comes your way in this season, you are moving into the victory promised in the next.
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank you for removing fear from my life and filling me with Your Spirit of power and boldness. Help me to see every situation through your eyes and give me wisdom with the choices I make. I trust you Father and I know you are always with me. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
