“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10
You might say, “Lord, I’m tired.” Maybe you’re tired of serving and helping others, tired of seeing the horrible state of our world, tired of seeing loved ones leave here too soon, tired of going to church and not seeing His glory, tired of not seeing enough done to help the hopeless and helpless.
Throughout history, men and women of God experienced weariness of heart. They had to go to God to strengthen them, and just as He was with them, God is with you. Just as He was their strength, He will be your strength too. He will uphold you by His right hand. He will help you go a little farther. He will help you walk by faith when nothing makes sense. He will help you by His Holy Spirit to keep standing for righteousness. No matter how tired you feel my sister, keep going. Keep your hands to the plow. Keep seeking God for His wisdom and keep receiving His supernatural strength. He will cause all grace to abound towards you. He will fill you completely and will be your fuel. He will renew and refresh you. He is your strength.
Prayer: My Father God, I’m tired. I ask that you strengthen me according to your word. That’s all I need is your strength. Without it, I can’t walk another mile. Without your help, I won’t last another day. I need you God more now than ever. Refuel me. Resettle me. Renew me. Refresh me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Meditate on this today: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9
