“He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us” (2 Corinthians 1:4, NLT).
One day a woman walked into a crowded room. Immediately her eyes found a place in the corner and she went to have a seat. The chair was hard, but sturdy. She came to appreciate how it held her up. In this crowded room filled with people from every walk of life, she felt alone. She whispered to herself,
I know You hear my voice
Oh how I need your hand
bring peace into my soul
help me understand
After she whispered these words, she felt a gentle touch on her shoulder. God had sent someone to comfort her. No one knew that she was in pain, but God did. No one knew of her loneliness, but God did. Her whispers resounded loudly in heaven. He had heard her cry and had come to her aid.
Your whispers resound loudly in heaven. God hears your prayers and He will answer. He will send His ministering angels to comfort you and give you peace. Always remember, the Holy Spirit is your Comforter, the Word of God is your consolation, and your brothers and sisters in Christ are your spiritual family who God will use to help you along the way.
He’s saying today by His Holy Spirit: “My love. I hear your voice. I will guide you with My hand. I will give you peace in your soul and I will help you understand.”
Prayer: Thank You Father God for speaking to my heart. I receive Your words of love and comfort. I pray that You give me supernatural peace in my soul. Strengthen me, Lord. Give me wisdom and understanding. I love You and I thank You. In Jesus name, Amen.
