“If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me” Psalms 139:8-10, NKJV.
Some people only come around when you’re feeling low and need lifting. Some people are only there when things are going well, and you don’t need anything from them. But Jesus, He is always there. Whether you have ascended high above the clouds, or whether you’ve made your bed in hell, He is there. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother, and He is not afraid of where you are in life. So, don’t you be afraid. Let His perfect love drive out all fear. You can do all God is instructing you to do. Whether He’s telling you to trust Him as He takes you higher than you’ve ever gone, or if He’s telling you to trust Him as He takes you through the most challenging experience of your life. As long as He is with you, everything will be alright. He is a good God, and He loves you indescribably. There are no words that fully express His affection for you; He had to show it through a sacrifice on the cross at Calvary. God’s never satisfied with just saying I love you. He has to show it. He will continue to demonstrate His love for you over and over again until you see that He loves you and He’s not going anywhere. You’re stuck with Him. Say out loud from your heart, “Lord thank You for loving me no matter where I am in life. Thank You for being with me and never leaving me alone. I love You and trust You.”
