“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 1:19
When your back is against the wall, your life is spinning out of control, relationships are hanging on by a thread, and all of the stress is affecting your health, what do you do? Sitting there with a stack of bills in your hands crying out to God does you no good. Hear the voice of God saying, “Daughter, what are you crying out to Me for? Go forward. Say what I have given you to say and use what I have put in your hands. Just as I was with Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, I am with you!” God is with you! His anointing and His presence is upon your life to do something awesome! Don’t just sit and complain. You may say, “Ok I’ll yield my mouth in worship, I’ll clap my hands, I’ll give my tithes and offering, and I’ll shout all around my church.” However, true praise and worship is living a life of obedience to God. That is the heart of worship. God will anoint your speaking, your writing, your cooking, your singing, your sewing, your giving, your ideas, your business, and whatever else He has put in your hands to do. And if you have no gift or talent, He will anoint you to be you! He is with you! Just as it makes any little girl happy to know her father is happy, living a life of obedience is where your true happiness lies. It may be that you know exactly what God wants you to do, and you are willing, but you are unable to move in it because your husband is afraid and doubtful. In your alone time with God, bind the spirit of fear and pray that God will speak to him. If he is one of God’s sheep, he will hear God’s voice and the voice of a stranger he won’t follow. God won’t speak to you and not speak to the one with whom you are in covenant with. He will speak to him and until he gets it, keep praying, keep trusting, keep preparing and keep doing what God is telling you to do. Be willing and obedient. You will surely eat the good of the land!
Prayer: Father, I hear You and I receive Your words in my heart. Send me. I’ll go. I choose to be willing and obedient to You. There’s a land awaiting me that You have promised me. Thank You for helping me understand what You have been trying to get across to me for so long. I love You and I worship you with all that is in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
