He knows how to bless you.

“He keeps satisfying you with good things, and he keeps renewing your youth like the eagle’s.” Psalms 103:5, International Standard Version.

My most memorable birthday was many years ago when my husband surprised me by contacting four of my closest friends. He really got me because most of them lived in other cities and he knew I missed them terribly. But on this day, out of nowhere, one friend came knocking on my door. I opened it, screamed, cried, jumped up and down, and hugged her tightly! Then another knock on the door, with another friend. I opened it, screamed, cried, jumped up and down, hugged her! Then another knock and then another. By this time, I had the whole crew of them standing in my home, and I was completely outdone…overwhelmed.

God is much like that; He’s the perfect husband. He knows how to really get you good when you least expect it. He knows how to bless you in a way that will make you feel like a little girl all over again. He will satisfy your mouth with good things. So much so, that your youth will be renewed like the eagles.

Trust in the goodness of your loving Father. He will bless you. You will open the doors He’s laid before you, and you will scream, cry, jump up and down, and feel overwhelmed with joy. If you only could see what He has prepared for you because you truly love Him.

Prayer: Father God, I thank you. You are so good and truly faithful. You are my Maker, and you are the perfect Husband to me. You know how to really bless me. You know me so well. I love you, and I am overwhelmed by your love, by your presence, and by your thoughtfulness. Thank you for every open door you will open and every secret desire you will give me. I bless you! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
