“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.” 2 Timothy 1:9 (KJV)
Have you ever felt as though your life had taken a drastic turn and you felt nowhere near where God wanted you to be? You can feel too late, too lost, too slow, and like you have lost too much time. Many of us know that feeling all too well, but be encouraged and be comforted. No matter where you are in life, you have a purposed destination that God is getting you to. If you are still breathing and are still alive, God is at work. You may have taken many wrong turns, but God in His infinite wisdom, knows how to get you to His desired destination right on time. You are never too lost for Him and never too far out of the way. Because He loves you so much, He will do whatever He has to do to get you back on track. If He has to move someone out of your way, completely change your environment, greatly strengthen you, or give you undeserved favor in a situation, He will make sure you get where He wants you to be. His power is greater than anything you can ever imagine. Don’t underestimate His love for you. It’s because He loves you that He is unwilling to see you die outside of His purpose for your life. You will rest in His love. You will experience His grace. You have not lost too much time to see His promises fulfilled in your life. So don’t get accustomed to that lost feeling. Things are about to change for you, and you’re going to have to get acquainted with being right where you are supposed to be. Don’t worry and don’t fret. God is going to teach you how to navigate through life and how to live totally dependent on the guidance of His Holy Spirit. He has you and He’s not letting you go until you fulfill your purpose and become all that He thought of when He was creating you.
Prayer: My God. Thank You for ministering to me in such a special way. I love You so much. You know where I am in life and how to get me where You want me to be. I come against all feelings of hopelessness. You are my hope and my confidence. Have Your way in my life. I yield to You and I trust You. Thanks for finding me, for taking me by my hand and escorting me into Your perfect will for my life. In Jesus Name, Amen.
