Here is an example of a way to pray for a loved one,

“Father God I pray that You grant my friend, Janice, according to the riches of Your glory to be strengthened with might by Your spirit in her inner man. I pray that Christ will dwell in Janice’s heart by faith that she being rooted and grounded in love, will be able to comprehend will all saints what is the breadth, length, depth and height and to know Your love which surpasses knowledge that she might be filled with all the fullness of You. I pray You do exceeding abundantly and abundantly all that Janice may ask or think according to the power that works in her. (Ephesians 3:16-20) I pray Father God that You fill her with all knowledge of Your will unto all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I pray she walk worthy of You Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work increasing in the knowledge of You. I pray you strengthen Janice with all might according to Your glorious power unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness. I pray Janice will give You thanks for You have made her meet and fit to be a partaker of Your inheritance in the saints in light. Thank You for delivering Janice from the power of darkness and for translating her into the kingdom of Your dear Son. (Colossians 1:9-13) Father I pray You will give Janice a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, the eyes of her understanding being enlightened that she may know what is the hope of His calling and what is the riches of the glory of the inheritance in the saints and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us that believe according to the working of Your mighty power. (Ephesians 1:17-19) I pray with all my heart that Janice will stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made her free and she will never be entangled again with a yoke of bondage (Galatians 5:1). Thank You Father God for hearing and answering my prayer for my friend. In Jesus name, Amen!”
