I got you!

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].” 2 Timothy 1:7, NKJV.

Honestly, I don’t know what’s scarier, running from God or being in a new place with Him I’ve never been before. But He is faithful to calm my fears and whisper in my ear, “I got you!”

Hear this short, but powerful word from the Lord whispering to you, “I got you!”

You may be in a place you’ve never been before, but the Lord got you. You must believe that you were made for this. For this cause you were born. God wouldn’t help you get to a place of victory and then leave you. He’s there to help you go from glory to glory and from faith to faith. He got you! You may feel afraid, but God got you! Let His perfect love drive all the fear away. He loves you and He loves the people He will reach through you. Love is the combatant of fear. It is impossible to be full of God’s love and full of fear at the same time. Be reminded of God loves as you continue to walk into those dark places none would dare to go. Be reminded of God’s love as you stand in a new place you’ve never seen. Be reminded of God’s love as you stand before people you’ve never met. You are carrying God’s light of love like a glowing torch and God is with you and will lead you.

Prayer: Hallelujah! Father God I praise You. You know exactly what I need and when I need it. I feel afraid, but fear is not me. I put on Christ. I put on the armor of God. I put on the new man. I put on Your love and humility and I ask You Father to please cover me. Fill me with Your love and help me keep my eyes on You. In the name of Jesus! I trust with all my heart that You got me. Amen.
