It may seem small, but it has great potential.

“He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches” Matthew 13:31-32, ESV.

What God has given you made seem small, but it has great potential. You may have a small women’s Bible Study that you’re trying to grow, a small staff at your business, or a small amount of money with big dreams. It’s not about numbers; it’s about the size of your faith. Believe God to take the little you have and multiply it. Believe Him to cause your small group of women to bring great glory to God and great change to your community. Watch Him take your small beginning and bless it to impact many. Don’t complain about being small. Don’t look at it and think something’s wrong. In God’s eyes, small doesn’t mean insignificant. A small mustard seed of faith can move mountains. A small seed can grow into the tallest and mightiest tree. A small person can defeat a giant. See the Lord being glorified in what He’s given you. Have a right view and attitude. No matter how it looks right now, it will produce great results for God’s glory!

Prayer: Father God, I thank you for blessing me with encouragement today. Help me not despise small beginnings. Help me not to look at the size or the numbers, but stay faithful to what you’ve given me. Help me Lord to have and maintain the right view and attitude. What you’ve given me may appear small, but it will accomplish great things in the earth for your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

(Read 1 Corinthians 1:27)
