“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7 (KJV)
One of the worst mistakes you can make is thinking you will not make any mistakes at all. Making a mistake doesn’t make you a failure, but giving up does. You’ll never know unless you try. You’ll never know what you are capable of accomplishing in life until you begin to put your hands to something and stick with it. The fear of failure can keep us from stepping out and doing what our heart yearns to do. However, it’s in the mistakes that you learn the most valuable lessons. You become wiser and you learn what not to do. You are bound to make mistakes. The more important thing is that you learn from them, accept responsibility for them and keep moving forward.
Prayer: Father, with every mistake I make, thank You that I grow in wisdom. You are merciful and gracious. Help me learn from every mistake and continue to move forward in my purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
