Live in a perpetual state of faith!

“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17

One morning while in prayer, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart, “Don’t live in a perpetual state of fear; live in a perpetual state of faith.” God knows how, if I’m not careful, I will constantly be anxious and worried about something. It’s like being told you’re having a baby. You rejoice for a moment, then you worry the entire pregnancy that something will happen to your unborn child. Then God helps you deliver a healthy baby and you rejoice for a moment, but then you worry how you will provide for the baby. When we never reach the place when we are trusting in God and resting in Him, we are living in a state of perpetual fear. God’s response is, “I didn’t call you to live in fear. I called you to live by faith.”

Declare with me today from your heart:

“I will not live in a perpetual state of fear. I will not go from worry to worry, or from anxiety to anxiety. That’s no way for me to live. I choose to trust in my living God. I choose to rest in who He is and trust in His rich promises. I will live in a perpetual state of faith! I will go from faith to faith and from glory to glory until I enter into eternal glory. In the name of Jesus. Amen.”
