My Sister, God is Your Provider!

“And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19, Amplified.

As God’s daughter, I’m supposed to look to the hills from where my help comes from, but years ago my husband and I had reached a point in our marriage when I was about to head for the hills instead. The landlord was threatening eviction, the refrigerator was empty, the water was cut off and our car was broke down. That’s enough to make any woman want to leave.

I thank the LORD that even in my emotions, He reminded me that as much as love my husband, He is my ultimate provider, not my husband or anyone else. He is the source of everything I need. Once this truth settled deeply in my heart, I was able to stop being angry at my husband and our situation, and was able to focus on letting God help us get through it. Not only did God help us through it, He blessed my husband with a job making twice his salary. Everyday he goes to work praising God for His faithfulness, and I praise God for helping me to trust Him!

If you are experiencing a financial crisis, know that God will meet your every need. He will bless you with supernatural provision and will see you through every trial. Trust Him.

Prayer: Father God, even with financial difficulties, help me to trust you with all my heart. You are my ultimate provider and my source. Help me to seek you first whenever a need arise. You’re where my help comes from, and no one else can provide for me like you can. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. To trust God to provide for you is to trust he will make a way where you don’t have one. It means to seek him in prayer and petition with you need and wait for his answer for direction on what you are to do. In my own experience if I thought I was to seek help I did it by saying “Lord if this is the way than open the door, if not than shut the door. If he says wait/trust Him then that’s what you do. (Always take your need or request to Him in prayer first).

    1. Amen and Amen Keisha. Thank you so much for this word today, I believe God used you to speak right into my situation. Thank you so much and God bless you and your husband for being used as His vessels to deliver His word to many.
