No Limits

“Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite” Psalm 147:5, NKJV.

I remember playing in my backyard as a child. There was a special set of monkey bars I used to climb, hang from, and lay on. I recall frequently looking up into the clouds and making various shapes of them. I wondered how far they reached and if there was a limit to them.

In my life, I believed what the world said and lived a life of limitations. I was often told things were “too much” or “too little”, that “this can’t be done” or “this can’t be achieved unless you are this type of person or have done these kinds of things.” I became exactly what I was told…limited.

Living a life in Jesus Christ has totally taken me to a whole new realm. Although I’ve often limited God and put Him in a box, He has no limits. The truth Jesus shows you not only sets you free, but allows you to be limitless with Him—hand-in-hand. The dreams that have been in your heart can be achieved with Christ. That home you’ve always wanted is reachable. That irreplaceable joy that this world doesn’t offer is never-ending in Jesus. With God, all things are possible. The poor decisions you have made are in the past and what God has in store for your future is unbelievable. I think back to where I was and where the Lord has brought me today and I can’t help but shout HALLELUJAH!!! God desires to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you can ever imagine or think by the faith that works in you. He waits on us to believe in Him.

Today, make a decision to be limitless with God and not to be held captive to the lies of the world. He will always come through for you.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for believing in me even when I don’t believe in myself. I know You have great plans for me, but sometimes those plans are hard to see. Grab my hand today like never before. Take me to new heights spiritually with You. Where I have limited myself, help me to become limitless with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
