No more stalking your past.

“No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead” Philippians 3:13, NLT.

No more stalking your past. If people are happier and better off without you, be happy for them and go on with your life. Treasure each moment you shared as you embrace the bright future God has in store for you. It’s time you give yourself permission to live, to love and to be truly happy.

Prayer: Father God, help me to stop looking back at my past. Help me to fix my eyes forward. My best days are not behind me, they are in front of me. You have a bright future awaiting me and I want to experience all of what you have in store. I give myself permission to smile and be happy, to love again and to live my best life! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Yes, sometimes I feel the need to return to my former self as if she’s more fun, carefree, beautiful instead of learning and embracing who God is making me in to today which will be the woman who steps in to my future. I’m so grateful for this word today. Thank you!

  2. This is just what I needed to hear. Though I am not exactly stalking my past, I keep remembering what was said, what was done and it’s all bad memories Instead I need to focus on my future and what God has for me ahead. Thank you so much for today’s word.
