“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.” Luke 21:33
Because I had a miscarriage two years ago, you can imagine the fear that tried to grip me when I discovered I was pregnant again. After I saw the test results that showed positive, I immediately went to God in prayer. In prayer the Lord spoke to me, “My hand is on your womb like the hand of a loving husband.” That was all I needed to hear. That promise from God carried me to full-term. Even when my children were afraid the same thing would happen as with mommy’s last pregnancy, I was able to teach them how to trust in God’s promise. God will always give you a promise that you can hold on to until you receive victory. When the baby was full-term, I noticed some bleeding. So immediately I rushed to the hospital with my husband. On the way there, I reminded God of His promise to me. I said, “Lord you said your hand is on my womb like the hand of a loving husband.” His promise carried me through to delivery of a healthy baby boy. Glory to God.
One word from God is all you need.
In this world we are surrounded by reasons to fear, but the promises of God gives us reason to exercise our faith. Whether it’s a rhema (or spoken) word to your heart or His written word that you have read and received, trust what He has said to you. He is faithful! He craves our trust in Him. He craves our believing and holding on to His promise despite what we see, hear, feel or have experienced in the past. He craves our spending time in His presence so He can speak to us. He craves our opening of our Bible so He can lead us to His rich promise. That promise from the Lord will help you, will calm you, will settle you and will guide you to full manifestation.
Prayer: Father God, I thank You for Your rich promises to Your children. Thank You that before fear has a chance to grip our hearts, You are faithful to give us something to hold on to until we receive manifestation. We trust You Lord. Speak to our hearts as we spend time with You. Forever Your word is settled in heaven. Let Your word settle our heart, our mind and every area of our lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
