Receive His Love

“But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)” (Ephesians 2:4,5, NLT).

There is so much for you to accomplish that you don’t have time to sit and waddle in the mud of self-pity and guilt over unwise decisions you’ve made in your life. God saw greatness when He was forming you and a future so bright. Don’t you know that God thinks the world of you? He is so smitten with you. What is He thinking in His millions of thoughts about you? Jeremiah 29:11 tells us His thoughts toward us are of peace, not of evil, to give us an expected end.

Anytime the devil tries to convince you that God hates you and has it in for you, you tell him, “No, God’s thoughts toward me are of peace and not evil”. God is with you. He is with you when you feel stagnant. He is with you when you’ve just behaved out of character. He is with you when you feel down and unlovable. God is right there and He’s not going anywhere.  He is committed even when you aren’t. He is faithful even when you aren’t. Nothing can separate you from His love and nothing can separate you from His plans and purpose for your life.

Prayer: Yes Lord. I am amazed at how you love me. Even when I miss it, you still love me. You are so faithful. This only makes me want to serve you more. Forgive me for anything I’ve said, thought and done that made you sad, and fill me with your love. In Jesus name, Amen.
