When we pick up our children and hold them close to us, we are letting them know everything will be alright. This is how God does His daughters when we pray to Him and worship Him. He picks us up and wraps His grace around us, wraps His love around us, and He surrounds us with His peace. Although we can’t feel His physical embrace as we would like to, the God of peace gives us comfort and rest in our soul. He calms our troubled hearts and quiets our emotions. He lets us know everything will be alright. Embrace Him with your worship and let Him give you rest.
“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1 (NLT)
I love You and I embrace You with my worship. There’s no peace like the peace I have when I’m with You. Only You can cause my heart and mind to rest. Thank you for this rest I have found in You and thank you for reassuring me that everything will be alright. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
