Soar Like an Eagle

Posted on Posted in devotions

He gives power to the weak, and to those that have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:29-31 (NKJV)

Because you know there is greatness within you, you may be afraid to release everything that has been put in you. This is a spiritual fear of heights. However, the Lord has a bit of encouragement to share with you. Daughter, you were designed to soar! You were created by God to not run all of your life, but lift from off of the ground, spread your wings, and soar! There is no happiness outside of your God-given purpose and design. People and the cares of life will want to pull you down and keep you on the ground like gravity, but God’s command is that you begin to rise and soar! When you soar, you are operating solely on the grace of God. His grace is with you to accomplish every single thing He has preordained and purposed you to do. Soar, daughter of the King!

Prayer: Father God, You made me to soar, not sit in fear. Wrap my heart around the true meaning of grace. Help me soar like an eagle, letting go of every spiritual fear of heights and fulfill Your divine purpose for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
