“Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God.” 2 Corinthians 1:21
Thank God For His Anointing
The anointing of God represents His presence and power. It is God’s presence and power that separates the Christian for service. It is His presence and power that does the work in ministry. It lifts burdens, destroys the yoke of bondage, and sets people free. Without the anointing, a song is merely a song. Without the anointing, a book is just a book. Without the anointing, a sermon is just a sermon, useless and powerless, only capable of stirring emotions. When you know God’s anointing is upon your life, honor and protect it. It is upon you for a divine purpose. The devil can’t steal it, however, it can lift through habitual sin and a life of disobedience. When God’s anointing is upon you, let it teach you. Don’t take what it shows you lightly. Don’t hold back or hesitate to walk in it. Sing! Write! Preach! Teach! Serve! Pray! Let the anointing do what it is designed to do in your life and in others. Let it heal and deliver. Let it break the power of the enemy. Let it convict of sin and draw people to the Lord. Let it set people free and change people lives forever to the praise and glory of God!
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your presence and power upon my life. I honor You by yielding to You. Forgive me if I have taken Your anointing on my life for granted. I choose to obey You. Be glorified mightily in me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
