The fight is in believing.

“Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12, NLT.

When it came time to purchase a new home, my husband and I knew it was God’s will for us to own a home. We knew the style of house we wanted to buy and we knew where we wanted to live. But even though we knew what God wanted for us, we experienced thoughts of fear, doubt and unbelief that caused us to questioned whether it would happen for us. Our fight was not with man. Our fight was not with the system or the process. Our fight was in believing that God would do what He said.

Sometimes when God has given you a promise, you are going to have to fight. But your fight is not with people, or with systems and things of this world. Your fight is in believing that you will receive everything God has promised you.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for every promise you’ve given me. Help me to fight with my faith until your promise becomes a reality for me. I come against all fear, doubt and unbelief that will try to get me questioning everything you said. Lord, you are who you said you are and I have what you said I have. Help me Father by your Spirit to lay hold everything you promised me. Help me fight to believe and win my faith in you. In Jesus name, Amen.

(Read Genesis 15:6; Romans 4:20)

  1. When we come to God, we MUST believe that what He says is true and is guaranteed to become reality! Thank you Jesus for Your guaranteed word!
