The Times Are The Times

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

Many world leaders don’t realize the intense spiritual war we are in. They are making decisions based on information they’ve gathered and ungodly counsel rather than by fervently seeking the Lord. Due to many misjudgements and ill-advised plans, we will see the face of evil in ways we have never seen before. While others stand in sheer terror, we must stand in faith. While others’ blood pressure is rising from fear, we must receive the abiding peace of God. While others are intoxicated with world news, we must be intoxicated with the Spirit of God. Filled with knowledge of His word. Redeem the time, God says. For the days are evil. Don’t be drunk with wine, but be filled with the Holy Spirit. Understand what the will of the Lord is and what He is saying to you right now. The times are the times, but we are His servants in the earth. Pilgrims passing through. Seek God like never before and trust in His protection as you do what God is instructing you to do. Protection isn’t for you to sit still or hide in fear. Protection is for you to go and fulfill the Great Commission as you trust that God is with you.

Prayer: Yes Lord. Thank You for speaking directly into our hearts by Your Holy Spirit. Help our faith grow and increase in You. Help us advance Your kingdom and fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. You told us to pray for our leaders that we may live a quiet and peaceable life. We pray that our leaders will humble themselves and pray. We pray they repent and seek Your face. We pray that You will protect us as we do what You called us to do. Cause Your peace to rise in our hearts. Cover our lives, our families, and Your people throughout the world with the blood of Jesus. Help us to have the kind of faith that pleases you. Help us not to waver, but stand in faith, believing and trusting wholeheartedly in You. In Jesus name, Amen.
