There’s a Purpose for Everything

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)

Feeling physically weak. Mentally confused. An emotional wreck. Lost and abandoned. Thinking life was not worth living and attempting to end it all. But I thank God He rescued me out of that place and established me. He set me right. Reminded me of who I am in Him and His plans for me. He gathered all the pieces of my broken life. And while He was helping me rediscover life, right when I was making a decision to move forward by faith, He blessed me and my husband to conceive a child. God knows when to bless you. Just knowing a baby was growing in my womb caused me to feel alive and blessed among women. That growing baby living in me helped me move forward, gave me joy and courage, and helped me see that life is beautiful again. God knows how to bless you and then when that blessing has accomplished its’ purpose, at the appointed time He calls it home. My baby was two months and two weeks in my womb when God called it home to be with Him. At first I didn’t understand. I had just gone through a loss, gone through severe depression, a nervous breakdown, an attempted suicide, and now a miscarriage.  I felt “Lord, what more breaking can I take?” But while crying on the hospital bed, I let Him know I trust Him. Even when it hurts. Even when nothing makes sense anymore, you have to say, “Lord, I trust You.” When you feel broken beyond belief, trust that God is sovereign and nothing that happens in your life is by accident. He has a plan and a purpose for it all. His thoughts and ways are higher than ours. Who would’ve thought in His sovereign wisdom, that a ten week old fetus would have such a great impact on my life? I am so thankful for the time with it, and when I get to heaven I look forward to seeing the child that changed my life. No matter how things look, you must see God’s hand on your life and stand in total awe of Him. Prepare to be speechless as He turns what the enemy has meant for your bad, around for your good. There’s more God has in store for you dear. After God breaks you, He greatly blesses you and uses you to be a great blessing.

Prayer: Father, I receive Your words into the depths of me. Thank You for every situation You allowed in my life to make me better. I trust in Your sovereign wisdom. I trust in Your plan and purpose. I trust You Lord and I surrender my life to You. I pray for every woman that has experienced a miscarriage. I pray You supernaturally comfort her heart and minister deeply to her. Bind up her wounds Father as You promised You would when we are brokenhearted. Bless her richly. In Jesus name, Amen.
