Unless You Had Believed

“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13

What would have happened to you unless you had believed? Where would you be right now if you had not believed in Jesus and received His love in your heart? What road would you have gone down if you hadn’t believed God had something better planned for you? We shudder at the thought of where we would be had it not been for Jesus. If your believing brought you this far, it is your believing that will carry you on to the other side of glory! You may have come through the fire and come through the flood. You may have thought, “I don’t know how I’m going to survive this!” But you’re still here and you are still standing by the sheer mercy and grace of God. Sister, even if you are holding on by the tip of your fingers. Even if you have to reach deep down and pull up every little bit of strength you can muscle. Even if you have no other words to say, but “Jesus!” God sees you and He will strengthen you. “I know your works.” God says, “Behold I have opened a door before you and no man can shut it. For you have a little strength. You have kept my word and have not denied my name. (Revelation 3:8)” While others may have lost confidence in you. They may be discouraged by everything you are going through, but not God. He believes in you. He has faith in the finished work of Jesus. You are His masterpiece and He will complete the work He started in you. God will be glorified in your life! You just keep on believing! You will see His muscle and you will see His glory manifested for you!

Prayer: Thank You God. You know exactly where I am. You are my God and I am Your daughter. You gave me a heart to believe and it is that believing that is keeping me. Thank You for never letting me go. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. Thank You for loving me the way You do. I believe in You. I trust You. Be glorified in me. In Jesus name, Amen.
