Walk In Your Authority

Posted on Posted in devotions

While you may have suffered defeat after defeat in your life, you are not defeated.  You are more than a conqueror through Jesus and you must let it be your resolve to keep moving forward, to keep plowing forward, being taken higher and higher in the things of God, and growing day by day.  Your faith in God is what will see you through to the very end.  Your faith in the love that God has for you, your faith in His character, your faith in His ability, and faith in His word is all that you have.  When the enemy is firing missiles at you, at your home, and at your life, what are you going to do?  Are you going to sit and just take it?  No, you have the authority!  You have the power through Jesus to rebuke the devil and tell him to back up off of your marriage, back up off of your children, back up off of your finances, and back up off of your life.  You are not powerless.  You are no weakling in God.   You have the power.  The Lion of Judah lives in you, release Him!  The entire angelic host in heaven stands at your command, send them forth! The blood of Jesus protects, plead it over you, your family and those around you!  The name of Jesus is more powerful than any other name, speak it!  You have been given the mind of Christ, use it!  Nothing can withstand the word of God when spoken, so declare it!  Understand what you have in God!  Walk in the authority that you have been given!  Allow the Spirit of God to teach you how to use all of these things to fight the good fight of faith!

Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.” Luke 10:19 (NLT)

Father,
I receive the authority You have given me through Jesus. I make it my resolve to not back down when You are telling me to stand. I choose to fight the good fight of faith, to speak Your word, to release my angels, to plead the blood of Jesus, to walk with the mind of Christ, and to believe in the power You have given me through Christ.  In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen

A sincere thank you to our Daughters of the King Daily Devotional Writers.
