Walk It Out

Posted on Posted in devotions

Whoever says he abides in Him ought [as a personal debt] to walk and conduct himself in the same way in which He walked and conducted Himself.” 1 John 2:6 (Amplified)

From the beginning of time, people have worshiped and praised God for who He is and for the great works He does. Because He is holy and righteous, His works are holy and righteous. Because He is good, His works are good. There is no separating who He is from what He does. The same must be true of every born again believer. There should be no separating who we are from what we do. By the grace of God, we are to be living epistles read of men. No longer should the world blaspheme the holy name of our God because we are not behaving like true people of God. They must see Him in our actions and praise and glorify His name because our works are consistent with who we say we are!

Prayer: Father, You have made me righteous through Jesus and have given me new life. I owe it to You to live right. Forgive me if I have misrepresented You. I receive Your grace to demonstrate my love for You in how I live. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A sincere thank you to our Devotional Writers.
