We’ve Got The Power

But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

As I began my day I ended up doing this entry without even trying.  God put it in my spirit to do a three day fast and on my first day this is what came to my spirit.

How bad do you want it? In order to get the things from God that we desire, we must be willing to step outside of ourselves, our own feelings and emotions as well as look past our current circumstances.  The word tells us that God gives us the Power to get wealth. Wealth is more than just money; wealth can be money, resources, abundance, prosperity in every area of your life and a list of other things.  We also see that life and death is in the power of the tongue, which is what we allow to come out of our mouths.  God also says that He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound (steady) mind.  So we can see in three different places that we have the power.

We have the power to change any situation we are in at this current moment.  Speak with power. Speak those things out of your mouth that you wish to see manifest in your life.  Speak to your finances, speak to your relationships.  We do not have to always meditate on the negative thoughts that satan allows to enter into our minds. Satan wants us to be silent; if he can get us silent he can keep us from having everything that God has already provisioned for us to have.  Speak positive things into your life and watch how your life changes.  Give your mind to God, think and speak on his promises. Fight back with your power. Your words have power so use them to be the best you that you can be.

Dear Heavenly Father, today we thank you for given us power.  We come boldly speaking and declaring the things you have promised us in your word. We thank you for giving us a sound mind. As we continue to use our God given power, we know and trust that you will stay true to your word because your word does not lie. We thank you for giving us everything we need, In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
