What did you learn?

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

My sister and my friend, during this time of year is when it is good to reflect on everything you experienced over the course of the year, and ask yourself, “What did I learn?”

Me? I learned to trust more, to not be afraid to be myself, I learned that it’s ok to not be ok, and I also learned that people will be people, but God will always be God.

What did you learn? About God? About yourself and others? What takeaways did you have from the good and bad experiences you faced? You can’t do anything about the past, but you can decide whether you will let those experiences this make you smarter or dumber. It’s completely up to you whether you will grow from it and move forward or remain stuck where you are.

I encourage you to let God help you get all the understanding you can get and go into next year wiser!

Prayer: Thank you Father for bringing me through another year! You are faithful. With everything I experienced in this year, whether good or bad, help me to learn from it. Help me Lord to go into next year wiser. In Jesus name, Amen.
